Okay, first, I am so, so sorry that it took me so long to get this up, and if you've already started feel free to ignore this. Feel free to ignore all of this even if you haven't started. I'm not that picky. I'm really looking forward to whatever you write, and I'm really excited you like one of the pairings I like enough to offer to write for it.
I'm also sorry that I didn't get into a discussion of the different AU scenarios. I did write some stuff out, but it just felt kind of pointless at this late date to post it, and I really do feel that whatever direction you take will be awesome.
These are just some thoughts, because I know some people like to have them. Bruce/Tony
I love the rapport they establish in Avengers, how they click, how accepting Tony is of Bruce and of how comfortable Bruce seems to be around him there and in the bit at the end of Iron Man 3. They don't trust unknown people easily, but somehow they trust each other. They get to have that, but also someone to geek out about science with. I also think it's interesting they both have body issues to deal with.Clint/Natasha
Their mutual respect and trust comes across so clearly in the Avengers, and I really love how obvious it is that they have each other's back.Bucky/Steve
My heart hurts for the both of them. I love their obvious mutual admiration society, how they both know each other so well, yet still believe the best of each other. Jemma/Skye
They both get so goofy and cute with each other in a way they don't get with others, and even though they don't have much in common, it's really interesting to watch them try to understand each other and build a flirty friendship.Loki/Steve
If they had to work together for some reason, they'd be an unbeatable team. Loki's a great strategist, but his tactics suck. Whereas Steve is a brilliant tactician, but generally leaves strategy to others. I also think that if Loki's ever going to be redeemed, he'd have to trust someone and who's more trustworthy than Steve? Not that the relationship would be one-sided. I think Loki alone would be selfish enough to put Steve's life above all else, whereas even Bucky, I think, would put Steve's values ahead of Steve's life.Steve/Tony
I think the two of them are different enough to bring out the best in each other. They challenge each other in a good way. This entry was originally posted at http://inalasahl.dreamwidth.org/165857.html.
